Breakfast Farina or Semolina Porridge

Farina porridge is the simplest porridge to cook! My kids grow up with this porridge! When they were babies I made porridge very thin. The recipe is for older kids but if you reduce the amount of farina, the porridge will be thinner.

Porridge N1.

Ingredients:

500 ml (2 cups) milk or 1/2 milk and 1/2 water

100 g (0.5 cup) farina

0.5 teaspoon salt

0.5 tablespoon sugar

2 tablespoon butter

Cooking direction:

Bring milk to boil. Add salt and sugar to milk. Add farina slowly and steering all cooking time so porridge comes out smooth. Boil 3-5 minutes on low, stirring frequently.  Cover pot with a towel and let “rest” for 10-15 min. before serve.
