Potatoes Anna recipe has just a few ingredients and very simple. Potato comes out crispy on the bottom and on the top and butter gives great flavor. Golden or russet potatoes are best for this recipe.
4 medium size potatoes
50g unsalted melted butter
Salt, Pepper, spices on your taste
Preheat oven to 425°F.
1. Peel and slice potatoes very thin. I use mandoline to slice potatoes ( A vegetable peeler can be used). Soak in cold water for a few min, drain. Dry very well with paper towel.
2. Season with salt, black pepper, and butter each potato.
3. Butter baking dish and line bottom with potato slices. Butter each potato layer with a brush. My skillet is 10.5″.
4. Bake in the oven for approximately 45 min, until potato soft. Bottom (see picture bellow) of the dish will be crispy like a top of the dish. Dry off excess of butter with paper towel and potatoes Anna is ready to serve.
