The Eastern European store is a family-owned international specialty groceries. Locally we call it “Russian food store”. The store offers a variety of Eastern European and Russian delicacies. You can find Russian delicious candies Bird’s Milk ( Ptichye Moloko ), cold deli, caviar, pickled herring, farmer cheese, Borodinsky rye bread, Russian soda beverages, kvas beverage, birch tree juice, buckwheat, farina, and much more.
The best day to shop is Wednesday because new merchandise arrives every Monday and everything on the shelf by Wednesday.

The store has enough room between shelves, very easy to shop and very convenient parking lot.
*If you’re a tourist visiting the New Orleans area and planning to stop at an Eastern European store in Kenner, I highly recommend driving just 5 minutes further to visit the beautiful Treasure Chest Casino.
