How To Make Bunny Step By Step
- Cut off the bottom of the cheese. Make sure, it is long enough to make bunny’s ears.
2. Cut out the triangle from the bottom piece.
3. Make 2 cuts as I show in the photo. The cut for the ears should be vertical, and the cut for the tail should be slightly by angle.
4. Insert ears and tail and the bunny is ready.
This Babybel cheese bunny is adorable and eye-catching on this platter! Pair them with mini orange stuffed peppers that look like carrots, topped with melted cheddar cheese and fresh green parsley for a vibrant, garden-fresh feel.

How To Make Bebybel Cheese Bunny Heads With Ears
- Cut the first cheese wheel as I show in the photo. The cut is 2/3 of an inch deep. We going to insert ears into this cut.
2. From the second cheese wheel, I cut off the sides to create bunny ears. Make sure the ears are thick enough to hold their shape.
✨ Tip: You can reuse the same cheese piece to cut an extra pair of ears.
The reason I like to use another cheese wheel to make head is bunny’s head always perfect round shape and all bunnies will be look alike.
4. Insert ears in the cut on the top of the bunny’s head.
For an extra touch of charm, you can draw adorable bunny faces using food-safe markers — perfect for adding personality and more fun to this simple cheese garnish! However, as is it is cute decor too.

Avoid Using Hidden Toothpicks in Your Food Designs!
It’s important not to use hidden toothpicks or other inedible objects to hold your food designs together. When I did research for this page, I noticed some websites suggesting cutting toothpicks to attach bunny ears to their food creations. The problem? These toothpicks are invisible, making them a serious choking hazard for guests, especially kids.
✅ Alternatives To Hold Food Design Together:
- Use soft, edible ingredients like hard cheese, vegetables (carrots, for example), or fruit (pear or apple, for example) to secure pieces.
- Make them visible, and use food-safe picks with well-visible tops that are safer for presentation.
Our creations should be beautiful, safe, and delicious — without hidden risks! 🐰✨
