How to Make Bunny Ears Treat Boxes with Cups and Napkins – No Glue Needed!

These bunny ear favor containers are made from disposable paper cups and napkins—no glue! We can use small or large paper (plastic) cups, as you can see in my photos, both look good.
In the photos, I used:
-
Beverage napkins for smaller bunny ears for small cups (the Easter cup and the white cup with red ears)
-
Luncheon-size napkins for larger cups and small cups for larger ears (“Happy Birthday” design cups and the white cups with yellow ears)
✨ Tip: Make a few test boxes in advance so you’re ready for the big day with minimal stress. It’s also a fun activity to do with kids or friends before your event!

What we need:

2 paper cups
2 beverage napkins
Ribbon
Scissors
*Beverage or cocktail napkins are 10 inches by 10 inches for shorter ears. For larger ears, use 13 inches x 13 inches luncheon paper napkins.
How To Make:
- Cut off the top of one of the cups.
*Make sure you cut enough off the top so it will be easy to fold the napkin corners into ears.

2. Choose the center of the folded napkin. This corner will be easier to fold into the bunny ear because not many layers.

3. Insert the napkins into the cut as I show in the photo.

4. Place the shorter cup inside the other. This simple method keeps napkins secure inside and looks neat with goods inside. The benefit of this method of holding napkins (no glue) is that we can adjust the napkins’ length easily.

5. Place goods.

6. Fold the ears out of the corners of the napkins and turn them in the same direction.
*Secure the bunny ears with a small clip or clothespin before tying the ribbon, making the ribbon-tying process much easier.

7. Secure the bunny ears with ribbon. I used curly ribbon. My easy DIY Easter treat box is ready!
*To curl the ribbon, place the dull side of the scissors on the ribbon. Press the scissors on the ribbon and slide the scissors.

These charming bunny ear favor containers are a fun and creative way to add personality to your Easter table or party decor!
