      International Food European Delights store call the Russian store in the Russian-speaking community because this store has so many Russian delicacies and of course, a lot of food from other European countries as well. If you looking to impress your family and friends for the Holiday this store has a large selection of authentic Russian food and food products from many other European countries as well. The ladies who work at the store are very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about merchandise, they all speak Russian.

The store is called also “Ashot’s Russian Store” in the Russian-speaking community by name of the owner.

      The store has a large selection of caviar, dry, smoked, pickled fish and other seafood delicacies. If you are looking for pickled herring from a barrel, ask. Pickled herring from barrel most the time better than from cans.

     The meat deli has a large selection as you can see in the photo. The meats are not what you usually can find at our regular grocery stores. Ask for the guide! They are very helpful.

     The cheese selection is very nice.

     In the frozen area of the store, you can find cold Russian beverages as a soda, kvas, beer, milk products and of course, Russian frozen food like pelmeni, vareniki, stuffed blini, Russian bread and much much more. The really right place where to buy Russian delicacies at Charlotte.

    I just took a photo of 2 shelves but it is a few more there. Large selection of Russian canned food, snacks, grains, flour, sauces, honey, sweets and more.

     Diana Deli European food grocery store was open in February 2022 in Charlotte and is located within walking distance of the International Food European Delights store. The store is spacious and has a good selection of Eastern European food – meat, fish, and drinks. Ask for delicious freshly baked bread!

      The store has a good selection of food on the shelves. The cold and frozen food has a large assortment too.

The store has especially signed a few parking spaces for the store customers in front of the store. We found available parking space when we visited the store without any problem.

       Taste of Europe Gourmet Foods store is located at Ballantyne Charlotte, NC where we can buy delicacies from Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania,  Moldova, Turkey, Israel, and other European and Mediterranean countries. The store is relatively new in Charlotte. The sales associate was speaking Russian and was friendly when we entered the store. The store has a good selection of meat, cheese, fish, milk product, candies, and other sweets which you can buy only at European stores.

      The store open recently (2019) and is part of an Exxon gas station. Located on the border of Charlotte, NC (Ballantyne Area) and Indian Land, SC. Has a large selection of Georgian, Ukrainian, Russian, German, Polish, Hungarian, and other Eastern European food. Meat, candies, frozen food, milk products, grains, unique spices mix, and much more. You can also buy homemade salads, chebureki and other delicious goods. Friendly and helpful customer service ( speak English and Russian ). My favorite store to shop when we shopping for delicacy gifts for my family and friends in Louisiana.

Good selection of unique wines from Georgia, Moldova, and other countries, you can’t buy these wines at regular grocery stores. Ask for delicious pomegranate wine! They have wine in beautiful bottles which makes a unique gift for the person who has everything.

In the frozen section good variety of milk products. Try baked milk kefir – riazenka!

If you are new to Eastern European food, it might be so much to choose from and confusing. Ask for assistance and the women who work there help you with the selection, it is really a lot delicious and maybe new goods to try.

      Appetite European Food Market is located at Fullwood Plaza Shopping Center, Matthews, NC. Very easy to find because the shopping center is on E Independence Blvd. At the store, you can see a good selection of Eastern European food. They offer a wide variety of homemade authentic Russian and Ukrainian food. Great place to look for food for your lunch or dinner!

       Golden Key Deli is located on a quiet shopping plaza in Indian Trail, NC, and very close to always busy E. Independents Blvd. The store has a wide selection of Russian food and food from other European countries as well. The owner and cashiers are always helpful and friendly when I was shopping there. Wide selection of food, herbs, and souvenirs. The store has enough parking space, even when they are busy. It is the oldest Russian store in the Charlotte area.

        I can also recommend visiting Zygma European Groceries & Deli if you looking for Slavic food in the Charlotte area. This is a small but very nice Polish grocery store in Pineville, NC. Very close to the Ballantine. This shop has primarily polish food and souvenirs but you can find also some food from other European countries as well.
