Rose Napkin Folding In Wine Glass – Fancy Cloth Napkin Folding

*Using a clothespin or the tip of a knife is optional when folding a rose-shaped cloth napkin for a wine glass. I originally saw this technique on Pinterest, where someone shaped the rose entirely by hand. While that method works, using a clothespin helps create a more uniform rose center and makes the folding process much easier—especially for beginners.

Once the napkin flower is placed inside the wine glass, there’s limited space to adjust the petals with your fingers. That’s where a small tool like a knife, chopstick, or even the back of a spoon can be very helpful. It allows you to shape and separate the napkin “leaves” with precision for a beautiful and polished presentation.

Rose linen napkin fold step by step:

Clip a clothespin in the center of the napkin.

2. Gently rotate the clothespin to form a star shape with four equal (as possible) corners from the napkin.

3. Hold the rose in your left hand and begin folding each corner of the “star” shape in half. Use your right hand to fold one corner at a time, while your left hand secures the folded sections. As you work your way around, these folded corners will form the rose’s leaves.
