Crab Imitation Salad With Chinese Cabbage Napa Recipe
The following salad recipe originally came from Russia and one of the main ingredients green cabbage and cucumber were not included but had green dill. It was given to me by one Russian chef after I tried her salad. If you are going to make it with green cabbage, shred it very fine. With green cabbage, this recipe is very good too. I tried this salad with real crab meat and I don’t like it. I like napa cabbage and try this cabbage in recipes instead of green cabbage. I like this variation with napa because it gives a more refreshing taste to salad to my taste. Try chop into larger pieces napa cabbage, also give some character to the salad.
Garnish for this salad made by nature. So simple and beautiful salad garnish idea! We don’t need to create anything, the flower just is going to be blooming, when we just touch it! The size can be adjusted to our needs.
*Interesting fact, Chinese cabbage call Peking as the capital of China cabbage in Russia.
1 pound napa cabbage
8 oz imitation crab meat
3 eggs
5 oz corn
3 tablespoon mayonnaise
3.5 oz cucumber
Salt to taste
- Shred cabbage.
2. Dice crab meat imitation.
3. Dice eggs.
4. Shred or cut into a thin strips (julienne) cucumber.
5. Mix all ingredients together. Add salt to taste.
The salad is great to serve for lunch!
