7 Cute and Fun Apricot And Peach Garnish Ideas

Peach garnish as an apricot garnish is so bright and impressive decor on desserts, cakes, or on the sweet table. These 2 fruits so similar, so I make one page for both apricot and peach garnishes. To serve apricots and peaches attractively out of season we can use dry apricots and canned as well. Garnishing with peaches and apricots is fun and makes desserts so memorable for your family and friends and for each of these garnishes we don’t need to spend so much time to make it. Most important to make all these garnishes we don’t need artistic skills. I am going to share how to cut a peach into fun and cute garnish. 1. Apricot Rose Garnish for Desserts
The apricot rose garnish is a great addition to a variety of desserts. When the season of apricots in your area, impress your friends or family with this realistic looks apricot rose.

The peach flower garnish is so pretty too because of the contrast and petals look so realistic. One difficulty I have sometimes, pit not easy to remove without damage the fruit. I cut side of the peach next to seed, not into the half.
Technique
- Cut the apricot into the half. From one apricot we can make 2 flowers. Slice as thin as possible one half.

2. Set aside 4 petals. Spread all petals in line like on the photo.

2. Roll apricot petals into a spiral. It will be the center of the flower.

3. This step makes the apricot flower appear prettier and look like a real flower. Place 4 petals in a circle under each other and try to slightly push on the center inside the dessert. This simple step gives visual volume to the flower.

4. Place the apricot roll into the center and our flower ready to serve.

2. Butterfly From Peach Garnish Idea For Desserts And Beverages

Butterfly from peach is great garnish for many summer desserts or drinks. To make the peach butterfly takes a few second but the technique needs small practice. Make a few butterflies before the event and after you can make butterflies from other fruits and berries. I made butterflies with this technique from mango, lemon, cantaloupe, kiwi… Great way how to cut a peach fancy for a summer party dessert. Butterfly so cute on glass of cocktail or other beverages.
What we need
- Peach
- Knife
Technique
- Choose peach with a solid surface, not overripe.

2. Cut the wedge out of peach.

3. Make sure the wedge has both sides symmetrical.

4. Make a cut out on the top. It will be antennas for our butterfly.

5. Cut off opposite side of the wedge. Make the angle, so the bottom of wings butterfly will be looks nice.

6. Make the shape of the wings for future butterfly.

7. Cut in half the top of the butterfly where the antennas are.

8. Turn around and cut into half the bottom but leave small (inch or so) skin not cut. This skin will be hold my peach butterfly together.

9. Open as a book and butterfly is ready.

10. If I going to garnish glass with beverage, I turn around the butterfly and make the cut as on the photo.

The butterfly from peach is ready! Great dessert garnish for a summer party!

3. Bee Peach Garnish Idea For Desserts

The bee garnish from peach is a great decoration on many desserts! We can make the head of the bees in different ways, depending on what you have available. For example, we can make the head out of some chocolate candy and eyes for bee buy already premade from chocolate. I am going to share the way how I made my bees from peaches with chocolate melts. We can make bee peach garnish from fresh peaches, cooked or used from a can if it is out of season.
What we need
- Peaches
- Dark chocolate melts
- White chocolate melts
- Sliced almonds
Technique
- Make a cut on peaches on the middle.

2. Pour boiling water on the peaches.

3. Let it cool little and peel peaches.

4. Make stripes with melted chocolate on peach halves.
*Peaches discolor to a darker color after we peel it as you can see on the photo. I didn’t know when was making my bees. To prevent discoloration toss peaches with lemon juice after peeling.

5. The head of the bee I made from 1-inch dark candy molds. I cut the bottom or 1/3 of the chocolate rounds (melts). With melted chocolate make a bee antenna for a more realistic look. It is not necessary but I melted chocolate anyway to make eyes.

6. I made the base for the eyes with melted white chocolate. Add dots with dark chocolate and heads for my bees are ready.

7. Assemble the bee. Attach 2 slices of almonds as wings and attach the head.

4. Ladybug Peach Garnish Idea

So cute peach ladybug garnish for kids fruits platters! We need red peach and chocolate chips. We can melt dark chocolate instead of chocolate chips.
Technique
- The front of the peach ladybug is where is the stem. Cut off the bottom next to the seed. Make T shape cut on the top of the peach.

2. When you make T shape cut so easy to find the seed. Make the next cut horizontally if possible don’t touch the seed.

3. Make hopes for chocolate chips and insert them.

4. The head of the ladybug I made from blueberry but we can make also from chocolate or black grape. Move slightly apart ladybug’s wings and it will be so cute decor for a fruit platter! In the photo, I decorated blueberries, raspberries, and braspberries.

5. Apricot Peel Flower

Cute and easy apricot flower garnish from the apricot peel. We can make this flower from firm peach as well and it will be a beautiful garnish too. We can use the peel for garnish and the inside of the peach in the dessert.
Technique
- Cut the bottom and leave the connection with peel and start peeling around the apricot. Than longer peel than a prettier flower will be.

2. Roll into the center the apricot peel.

Flower From Apricot Peel With Blueberry In The Center
This is a slightly different variation of the technique of how we can make apricot peel flower. I cut out the bottom in the shape of the flower as in the photo below. The next step is the same as the previous technique. I peel the top of my apricot and roll the skin in a spiral.

I add blueberry in the center of my flower. This flower is so cute too and another option how we can make apricot flowers with almost the same technique.

6. Peach Cocktail Garnish Idea In Shape Of A Feather

Easy and impressive peach cocktail garnish idea in the shape of a feather. Look so nice in a glass of any beverage where we can use peach as a garnish. In the photo, I used a feather decor to garnish my peach smoothie.
Technique
- Cut half of the peach, just above of the seed.

2. Cut out in the middle one small cut and remove. Cut out the second and third after each other. Don’t make cuts too close to the bottom.


3. Place pieces back as shown in the photo.

4. Make a cut on the side and place peach garnish on the glass.

The feather peach garnish looks so nice! We can use the same technique to make garnish from other fruits as well.

7. Peach Bunny Garnish Idea

Peach bunny is so cute and super easy garnish idea for kids’ desserts or fruit platters. We can make a bunny from apricot as well. So a fun way of presenting peaches and apricots. To make a peach bunny we don’t need much time and it great project to make with kids. I show the technique on the apricot example because the peach bunny technique is the same.

Technique
- Cut the bottom of the apricot and remove the seed.
∗Removing the pit from the peach is not always easy, I use a melon scoop because it has sharp edges and spoons but I have not worked well with this task.

2. Cut out a triangle from the bottom. It will be bunny ears. Cut in front of the bunny’s body and insert ears.
